നിശാഗന്ധി തന്റെ പരിമളം
പൊഴിച്ചീടുന്ന രാവുകളിൽ
വിഷണ്ണയായി അവളിരുന്നു
തൻ തെറ്റ് കവച്ചു വെക്കാൻ
ശ്രമിക്കും നേരത്ത്
പുറത്തു ചാടാനായി വെമ്പൽ
കൊള്ളുകയായിരുന്നു അവ
മറ്റൊരാൾ തൻ പാപ-
മെല്ലാം തന്നിലേക്ക്
കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചിടുമ്പോഴും
രൗദ്ര ഭാവങ്ങളിൽ അഭയം
തേടിയവൾ പറഞ്ഞു
