കണ്ടു ശ്രീരാമനെ,

സ്ത്രീഹൃദയത്തിനുന്‍മാദമുണര്‍ത്തുമാ മോഹന
ഗോപാംഗഭംഗി നുകര്‍ന്നവൾ, കണ്ണെടുക്കാതെ,
കണ്ണെടുക്കാതൊരഭൗമ രോമാഞ്ചമായി നിന്നാൾ
സലജ്ജം സകാമം സവിസ്മയം
രാജീവപുഷ്പശരങ്ങളേറ്റാദ്യമായ് രാമനിൽ
മോഹം തുടിച്ചുണര്‍ന്നീടവേ,
താടി തടവി ചിരിച്ചു ചൊല്ലീ മുനി
താടകയെന്ന നിശാചരിയാണവൾ
ആര്യഗോത്രത്തലവന്‍മാര്‍ അനുചരന്‍മാരുമായ്
ദക്ഷിണഭാരതഭൂമിയില്‍ സംഘങ്ങൾ
സംഘങ്ങളായ് വന്നു സംസ്കാരസംഹിതയാകെ
തിരുത്തിക്കുറിച്ചനാൾ, വാമനന്‍മാരായ്
വിരുന്നുവന്നീ ദാനഭൂമിയില്‍ യാഗപശുക്കളെ മേച്ചനാൾ
ദ്രാവിഢരാജാധിരാജകിരീടങ്ങള്‍ ഈ മണ്ണിലിട്ടു
