കൈത്തോടിൻ അരികത്ത്
തെക്കേത്ത് ഒരു തെങ്ങുണ്ട്
ആ ഒറ്റ കൊന്ന തെങ്ങിൽ
തുഞ്ചത്ത് ഒരു കൂടുണ്ട്.
മഞ്ഞളിൻ നിറമുള്ള
കുരുത്തോല ആടുമ്പോൾ
പൂക്കുലകൾ കയ്യിലെടുത്തു
അണ്ണാർക്കണ്ണൻ തുള്ളുന്നെ.
കിളികൾതൻ കച്ചേരി
കാറ്റേകുമിലത്താളo
കുഞ്ഞിക്കിളി കൂടിനു
തെക്കോട്ടാ ചാഞ്ചാട്ടം.

തെക്കോട്ടും വടക്കോട്ടും
തെങ്ങാകെ അനങ്ങുമ്പോൾ

കാലം തെറ്റിമഴപെയ്യും
കടലാകെ തിരയുണ്ടെ
കുഞ്ഞിക്കിളി നനയാവിധം
ഓലക്കീറുമെടയേണം.
മിഴിയടക്കാതെ മഴയൊലിക്കാതെ
ഈ പവിഴകൂടുകാക്കണം.

അമ്മക്കിളി കരഞ്ഞു പാറി

കണ്ണീർമഴയിൽ മറഞ്ഞു.
