യൂദ്ധത്തിൽ വിജയിച്ചവരുമില്ല
ആധീശത്വം സ്ഥാപിച്ചവരുണ്ട്
കീഴടക്കിയവർ ധാരാളമുണ്ട്
പിടിച്ചെടുത്തവർ ഏറെയുണ്ട്
യൂദ്ധം പോരാളിക്ക് തൊഴിലാണ്
അന്നം നേടാനൊരു വഴിമാത്രം
മരണം , കൊല എന്നതിനപ്പുറം
മറ്റൊന്നും ചിന്തിക്കാനുമാകില്ല
യൂദ്ധം രാജാവിനൊഘോഷമാണ്
മേനി പറയാനൊരു നേ(കോ)ട്ടം
ധർമ്മം സംരക്ഷണമാണെന്ന്
ആവർത്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കാം
യൂദ്ധത്തിൽ തോറ്റവരാരുമില്ല
നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവർ അതിലേറെയുണ്ട്
ലാഭ-നഷ്ട പട്ടികയിൽ പെടാതെ
മണ്ണടിഞ്ഞു പോയവരനവധിയാണ്
സമവായ ഭാഷ വശമില്ലാത്തവർ
യൂദ്ധമല്ലാതെ മറ്റെന്തു പറയാനാണ്
യൂദ്ധം സമാധാനം കൊണ്ടുവന്നത്
ചരിത്രത്തിലെവിടേയും കാണാനുമില്ല
നഷ്ടങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടികയിൽ ഒരിക്കലും
ഇടം പിടിക്കല്ലെന്നു ഉറപ്പുള്ളവർക്ക്
നടന്ന-നടക്കാനുള്ള മഹായുദ്ധങ്ങളെ
പേർത്തും പേർത്തും ചർച്ചചെയ്യാം
അപരന്റെ തീരാനഷ്ടങ്ങളിൽ
വേദനിക്കാൻ മാത്രമുള്ള
ഹൃദയവിശാലതയില്ലാത്തവർക്ക്
മറ്റെന്താണ് ചെയ്യാനാകുക?
പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കാം
സമാധാനത്തെ നെഞ്ചിലേറ്റുന്നവരെ
വസന്തം പൊട്ടിവിടരുന്നത് കാണാൻ
